They’re looking for a reliable, switched-on Refrigeration / HVAC Technician to join their growing Auckland team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out preventative maintenance, attending service callouts, and performing repairs across commercial and industrial sites
• Installing and commissioning systems in critical environments including data centres, hospitals, MRI rooms, and labs
• Diagnosing issues related to airflow, unit conversions, and digital system controls
• Working on advanced systems like air handling units, climate control equipment, and chillers
• Completing all service reports accurately and on time
• Coordinating with the office team to ensure efficient job planning
• Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety standards

  
You may handle 4–5 jobs per day or be assigned to a single site for the duration of a project - depending on the workload and project scope.
There’s also increasing exposure to computer-based systems and emerging work in UPS power systems.
  
What You’ll Need

• A minimum of 4 years' experience in the HVAC or refrigeration industry
• A full trade qualification in Refrigeration and/or Air Conditioning
• Strong hands-on skills including compressor changes, soldering, and basic chiller work
• Competence with fault-finding, digital diagnostics, and system installation
