Mechanical Building Services Engineer - Essex
Up to £45,000 basic + 26 Days Holiday + 8% Pension + overtime +Call out + Career progression

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider on a large commercial complex based in Essex.

This is a permanent Role offering long-term stability, a strong team environment, and excellent career development opportunities.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for the planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across a modern commercial building, ensuring all plant and building services systems are operating efficiently and safely.

Key duties include:

• PPM and reactive maintenance of HVAC systems, pumps, valves, AHUs, FCUs, and general building services plant
• Fault finding and diagnostics on mechanical systems
• Minor installation and project works as required
• Liaising with clients and the on-site facilities team
• Ensuring compliance with all H&S procedures and site protocols

Requirements

• Recognised Mechanical or HVAC qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
• Strong background in commercial building maintenance
• Experience working in a client-facing environment
• Good understanding of H&S procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Package

• Salary: £45,000 per annum
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
• Benefits: Overtime, 26 days holiday + bank holidays, 8% pension, training, and career progression
