Critical Services Engineer
£50,000 + pension + overtime + career progression pathways 

A leading Facilities Management provider is currently seeking an experienced Critical Facilities Engineer (FM) to join a high-profile, technically complex site in Central London (Euston). Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across critical M&E systems, including HVAC, UPS, generators, and BMS.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations.
• Monitor and respond to alarms and BMS alerts to prevent downtime and maintain operational continuity.
• Participate in regular drills, scenario planning, and incident investigations.
• Liaise closely with on-site stakeholders to uphold service excellence and critical uptime standards.
• Maintain detailed records, permits to work, and ensure documentation is audit-ready.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Recognised electrical engineering qualification (e.g., C&G, NVQ, HNC/HND).
• Experience in a critical or highly regulated environment (e.g., data centres, healthcare, research, finance).
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems, generators, AHUs, CRAC units, fire alarms, and building management systems.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
