A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems across various sectors, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for diverse projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and technical assessments.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure adherence to industry codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate electrical solutions effectively.
• Perform calculations, simulations, and energy modelling as required.
• Support the preparation of tender documents and contract administration.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and trainees.
• Assist in project management, budgeting, and timeline coordination.
• Attend meetings and liaise with clients to ensure project goals are met.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., CEng, MCIBSE, MIET) preferred.
• Proven experience in electrical design within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, Amtech, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, British Standards, and sustainability guidelines.
• Experience with BSRIA/RIBA project stages is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
