A Building Services SME are on the lookout for an M&E Estimator to work across a number of Facilities Management projects within a growing business. You'll be working for a company renowned for innovation, strong client relationships, with award winning building services technology at their disposal. it's important to have strong communication skills as you'll be working with a number of valued clients, and liaising with high level company staff. Duties are as follows:
- Develop cost estimates and proposals for M&E planned preventive maintenance (PPM) contracts, variations, and re-tenders, including asset schedules and tender submissions.
- Conduct site surveys and analyze tender documents to ensure accurate and timely pricing aligned with customer requirements.
- Source and evaluate cost-effective quotes from suppliers and subcontractors while supporting their selection and performance reviews.
- Improve internal processes for managing enquiries, proposals, and related systems, ensuring efficient and accurate handling.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients during pre- and post-tender stages to refine submissions and meet project needs.
- Manage contract handovers, updates, and modifications in line with company protocols.
- Balance technical compliance and risk with competitive pricing in bid/no-bid evaluations.
- Foster a team-oriented environment and deliver outstanding customer service while liaising with clients as needed.
