The role
As shilo. continues to grow across Sydney and the broader NSW market, we are looking to partner with a commercially minded individual who brings deep HR leadership experience and strong market insight. You will be a part of our Leadership Team reporting into the CEO.
This role sits at the intersection of strategic market development, relationship leadership, and opportunity generation. You'll be the face of shilo. in Sydney — building visibility, strengthening our brand and creating meaningful connections that translate into long-term client partnerships.
You're adept at engaging with senior stakeholders — CEOs, CPOs, HR Directors, and Transformation Leads — leveraging your existing network while growing and continuing to build strong, trusted relationships. There will also be an opportunity to support on occasional projects.
What you bring
You bring a strong understanding of the HR, People & Culture and leadership landscape, with a clear view of workforce trends and the realities of the Sydney corporate market, naturally complemented by your own network of Senior Executives. You are commercially astute, comfortable analysing market dynamics, competitor positioning and growth opportunities across NSW.
You understand how to build and manage a sales pipeline — from identifying opportunities and nurturing relationships through to forecasting and CRM-led reporting. You are confident positioning HR consulting services, pricing and delivery models in a way that resonates with senior decision-makers and reflects real client value.
Your background
You have held senior HR leadership roles (such as CPO or HR Director) or have equivalent credibility that allows you to engage confidently with executives and boards. You have had demonstrable success in business development, market growth or senior client leadership roles, ideally within HR consulting or adjacent professional services.
You have a proven ability to build, manage and convert pipelines aligned to business strategy, and you are comfortable representing a brand at industry events, HR forums and executive roundtables. You're also confident using CRM systems, sales reporting and pipeline management tools to bring discipline and visibility to growth efforts.
