The Role 

We’re looking for a proactive, HR Specialist Talent Acquisition & Engagement Lead to join the shilo. team. In this dynamic role, you'll lead end-to-end recruitment activities, build strong talent pipelines, and ensure our HR consultants feel supported, engaged, and ready to step into client opportunities.

You’ll be the first critical touchpoint for new talent—representing the shilo. brand with professionalism and warmth—while shaping a seamless and engaging candidate experience. Reporting to our Co-founder, and working closely with our Resourcing Lead and Client Leads, you’ll play a key role in aligning people capability to client needs and driving our resourcing strategy forward.

Some of the key competencies, skills and experience we are looking for are: 

Talent Acquisition (Lead): 

• Own end-to-end TA processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. 
• Develop and maintain strong talent pools and pipelines 
• Leverage a range of sourcing channels and networks to build a strong, diverse consultant pipeline. 
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience—whether successful or not. 
• Develop and implement our EVP and employer branding strategies. 

Consultant Engagement (Lead/Support): 

• Design, develop and co-ordinate consultant engagement activities and events 
• Ownership of the consultant engagement channel ‘slack’, to create a vibrant community.  Manage members, drive conversation, post relevant content. 
• Run surveys and gather insights to improve consultant experience. 
• Share relevant market trends and updates with our consultant network. 

Resourcing (Support): 

• Allocate consultants to client projects based on capability, availability, and fit. 
• Monitor consultant utilisation, workload, and engagement. 
• Help manage the consulting bench and identify future resourcing needs. 
• Support timesheet approvals, compliance, and general resourcing admin. 
• Contribute to process improvement and resource planning strategies.

• Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within HR or professional services. 
• A strong network and knowledge of the HR talent landscape.
