Position: Event Staff – Cleaners & Kitchen Hands
Start: 16 April 2025
Duration: 10 days
Salary: $30.13 to $31.23 per hour plus superannuation
Location: Stuarts Point NSW
 
Primary Purpose of the Position
 
Our Client is looking for experienced, locally based Cleaners and Kitchen Hands for a large and exciting upcoming event. In this position, the successful candidates will work together as a team to execute the critical functions of this event seamlessly.
 
This large event will be catering for up to 4000 guests, and will suit candidates who are efficient, flexible, reliable and have previous hospitality experience.
 
These are casual positions requiring availability for the entire 10-day duration of the event.
 
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
 
Kitchen Hands

• Assist with breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts
• Assist with food preparation and garbage disposal
• Setting up of tables in the event space
• Vacuuming

Cleaners

• Cleaning of amenities blocks and general tidying around the amenities areas
• Assisting with cleaning of other building areas where required

Essential Criteria

• Availability for the entire 10-day duration of the festival
• Previous hospitality experience
• Excellent communication skills and reliability
• Flexibility and ability to support in other areas where required
• Ability to work split shifts (morning, afternoon and evening)
