Overview
 
Our client is a prestigious Early Learning Centre positioned in a prime location in Epping. They are a family owned & operated centre who focuses on long day childcare that caters for children from birth to five years.

Our client prides themselves in ensuring the children’s care and safety are always the highest priority. Their newly built centre contains state of the art facilities, high quality programs, professional cleaning and a qualified chef who, in collaboration with a nutritionist, prepares fresh meals daily.
 
Primary Purpose of the Position
 
Supporting and fostering a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for babies in our Baby Room, from 0-2 years. Collaborate with educators, staff and families while promoting the physical, emotional, cognitive and social growth of each child.
 
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Engage children in age-appropriate sensory activities to stimulate motor skills and cognitive development.
• Maintain effective and open communication with parents, providing updates on the child's development and well-being.
• Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Assist with the implementation of daily routines and learning programs.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment by maintaining proper hygiene and sanitising surfaces regularly.

This is a full time role from Monday to Friday.

Essential Criteria

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• 2-3 years experience working as a Childcare Educator in an infant or baby room.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework 
• CPR and First Aid is advantageous.
• Proven interpersonal skills, including the use of verbal, written and technological communication and basic computer skills.
