Are you a patient tech whiz who loves to create solutions, improve ways of working, and bring people along a journey of development and improvement? Then WAGEC needs You!
The need for WAGEC to offer quality services for women, children and families who are experiencing homelessness or impacted by domestic violence has never been greater. To enable our teams to continue to meet these needs, we're investing in a Digital Uplift strategy - and we need an organised leader to help guide us through this change.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director of Quality and Impact, this new role will help our nearly 100-strong team adopt and embed new systems, processes, and digital ways of working. With a focus on building digital capabilities and ownership of the people and organisational change components of our digital uplift strategy, this is a hands-on, highly collaborative role that will create meaningful change for our organisation and our communities.
This is a part time (0.8 FTE) fixed term contract for 12 months, with potential to extend. The role is a SCHADS Award Level 6, based at our Redfern Head office with regular travel across our nine sites.
The core responsibilities are:
- Digital Change and Uplift Leadership (35%): Plan and lead the people-side of digital change initiatives to enable business objectives.
- Systems Adoption and User Enablement (30%): Build confidence, capability and sustainable use of technology or digital tools
- Implementation and Improvement (30%): Coordinate the end-to-end activities needed to implement and improve digital solutions.
ABOUT YOUYou're a practical facilitator who makes digital change understandable, inclusive and achievable. Empathetic and adaptable, you'll get to know our people, understand their needs and gaps, and work with teams to deliver digital projects. We're seeking a highly organised, collaborative, and confident tech leader, who has demonstrated experience leading organisational change, digital adoption, and service improvement initiatives.
Ideally, you'll have qualifications and/or equivalent experience in the areas of IT, digital systems, user experience, change and/or project management. You'll be confident in supporting the effective use and optimisation of Microsoft 365 platforms, including SharePoint, Teams, Planner and Copilot. You'll be a strong communicator and a values-driven leader.
