PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Fundraising and Communities team work to secure essential financial and non-financial resources, develop meaningful opportunities and experiences for supporters and clients, build awareness of WAGEC’s work, and inspire community engagement and collective action to address gender-based violence.
THE ROLE
The Donor Relations Officer delivers critical, operational support to the fundraising team. It’s the first point of contact for all fundraising enquires and is key to ensuring a positive experience between donors and the Women’s & Girls’ Emergency Centre.
This role delivers donor queries, triages requests to relevant teams, supports stewardship and retention activities.
This role also supports with data management and reporting. It ensures the accurate record keeping of interactions and transactions. From time to time, it may also support with reporting and data analysis.
This is a part-time (0.6-0.8 FTE), fixed-term contract for an initial 6-month period, based at our Redfern Head Office, with some travel to other WAGEC sites.
The successful applicant must be available to work the first half of September to help support Walk for WAGEC. Ideally your work pattern will include working Monday, Tuesday and Fridays.

- Support donor/fundraising enquiries

3. Database Management, Reporting & Donor Insights (20%)

- Support Data-Driven Fundraising
ABOUT YOUYou will have:
- 1-2 years’ experience in a fundraising, donor relations, or customer service role.
- Demonstrated experience working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, etap or Raisely, to manage donor data and generate reports.
- Experience in processing donations, managing donor records, and providing excellent customer service.
- Be able to generate reports, analyse data and deliver insights.
