About the role

In this permanent, full-time role, you’ll help shape and deliver a high-performing HR function across multiple sites—supporting a culture of excellence, inclusion, and continuous growth in a thriving essential industry.


Key Responsibilities

• Culture & Engagement: Drive initiatives that support diversity, inclusion, well-being, and a high-performance culture.
• HR Strategy & Planning: Partner with site and national leaders to align people strategies with business and sustainability objectives.
• Talent Acquisition & Development: Lead recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning. Engage with universities to build the talent pipeline.
• Employee Relations: Manage employee relations matters with a compliant, solutions-focused approach.
• Workforce Planning: Analyse workforce needs and trends to support operational efficiency and cost optimisation.
• Compensation & Benefits: Contribute to the design of competitive, rewarding employee packages.
• Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to all employment laws.
• Health & Well-Being: Support a culture of safety and holistic well-being in collaboration with safety teams.
• Change Management: Facilitate change through coaching, leadership support, and proactive communication.
• Return to Work Programs: Manage effective return-to-work programs, supporting injured or absent employees in their reintegration into the workplace.

About You

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field. AHRI membership or Cert IV TAE is a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years in HR, including 2+ years in a business partnering or similar role.
• Skills: Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of employment law, inclusion, and WHS standards.
• Attributes: A proactive, people-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
