Software supporting Export / Import logistics process solutions
A proudly owned and operated Australian success story, revolutionizing the way the Global ‘Trade Management – Supply Chain’ market conducts business, our client has developed a vibrant culture that is deeply committed to customer success. Continuously expanding, they have well established international offices and hope to eventually deploy their highly trained and successful employees into overseas postings.
What’s in the opportunity:
This is a rare opening to grow the scope of your industry expertise and transition into the realm of Cloud Technology specifically tailored to the International Supply Chain community. You’ll stay relevant by receiving fantastic in-house training, to provide you with all the product knowledge needed, so that you become one of the leading consulting support and operational figures in a unique and expanding Cloud ‘Global Trade Management’ solutions organization with a growing global footprint.
You will draw on your comprehensive International Trade (Import / Export) Supply Chain / Shipping knowledge to relate to your customer, ‘speaking the lingo’, understanding their business processes ‘end to end’ and their respective supply chain transactions. This means you’ll be supporting a customer base of SME, National & Multinational Exporters and Importers. You will join the operational function in the initial process review through to the implementation for the client – supporting their people through the change process and helping them understand the new flow from a logistical perspective.
This role requires a natural communicator with exceptional interpersonal adaptability; someone who really wants to be part of the bigger and growing global picture. With a consultative, commercial and operations support mentality, you will understand the end-to-end process of international trade & logistics services. It is important that you have an aptitude for software and technology and can adapt broadly to the language both IT members and
Software Developers speak.
Essential skills therefore are:
Solid experience in either Exports or Imports from Freight & Shipping / Logistics / International Commodity Trading with a good aptitude for understanding technology.
You may have experience in account management, operations, systems implementation or change management and understand how organisations work.
If you are looking to progress into a relevant sector and one that will dominate the future of how we conduct business, then please apply to us with your targeted CV.
