About the Opportunity
As part of a close-knit and skilled maintenance team, you’ll work across a broad range of plant and equipment. No two days will be the same – from urgent breakdown response and fault finding, to planned shutdowns and continuous improvement projects.
Your focus will be on keeping plant operations running safely, smoothly, and reliably – a critical role in supporting high-quality product output.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs across industrial plant and processing equipment
- Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and production issues
- Working on shutdowns, rebuilds, and upgrades as required
- Ensuring safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed
- Collaborating with other trades and departments to support production continuity
- Contributing ideas and feedback to improve maintenance systems and plant efficiency
What You’ll Bring - Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter and Machinist or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, food production, agricultural, or industrial plant environment
- Confidence with fault-finding, interpreting mechanical drawings, and using hand/power tools
- Commitment to working safely and effectively under pressure
- A team-first attitude and a strong work ethic
