Are you an experienced WHS professional ready to take the reins in a high-risk manufacturing environment?

We’re seeking a confident and capable WHS Manager to champion safety across a large-scale food and packaging site in regional NSW.

In this hands-on role, you’ll partner with leadership to drive a proactive safety culture, manage and improve safety systems in line with ISO 45001, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legislative obligations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading the implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System
• Guiding and supporting site leadership to meet all statutory and regulatory WHS obligations
• Modelling visible safety leadership across plant operations
• Driving site-wide WHS initiatives and promote a strong safety-first culture
• Leading hazard identification (HAZOP), risk assessments, audits, and inspections
• Managing incident investigations, first aid, injury management and RTW processes
• Administering WHS systems and platforms (Vault or equivalent)

What You’ll Bring:

• Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety
• 5+ years WHS experience in food manufacturing, agriculture, construction, transport or similar high-risk industry
• Knowledge of WHS risk tools, ICAM investigations, and auditing standards (ISO 45001, 9001 etc.)
• A practical and collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Digital proficiency in MS Office, safety platforms and ERP systems
• First Aid & CPR certification
