About the Role:
Reporting to the Work Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating WHS programs with a focus on the site’s Fire Services Management Plan. You’ll contribute to the development and implementation of WHS systems, quality assurance standards, and safe work procedures, while providing sound advice and guidance across multiple operational areas. Key responsibilities include conducting site safety audits, maintaining critical safety registers (asbestos, confined spaces, first aid, safety showers, etc.), and ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and WHS legislation. You will also support the organisation in regulatory interactions and the development of risk management strategies.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have a trade, engineering, or technical background, with a solid understanding of WHS legislative requirements and ISO 45001 accreditation frameworks. Previous experience in complex operational environments—such as manufacturing, construction, or fire services—is highly desirable. You’ll be a proactive, ethical, and safety-focused professional with exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
