We are looking for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor with strong leadership skills to influence and guide our site management teams.
  
About the role 
Reporting directly into the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Monitoring and enforcing health & safety standards and procedures on our projects
• Ensuring standards are being applied consistently throughout our work sites
• Conducting regular inspections, audits, and incident investigations follow-up actions are closed out
• Supporting daily toolbox talks and inductions when needed
• Subcontractor health & safety prequalification and performance management
• Ensuring compliance with WorkSafe NZ guidelines and reporting standards
• Maintaining H&S records, reports, and documentation
• Self-learner and knowledge seeker
• Providing inhouse health and safety training

Key requirements

• Good working knowledge of HSWA 2015 and associated regulations
• Experience in civil construction safety management and incident investigations
• Strong audit, inspection, and investigation skills
• Relevant health & safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH or equivalent)
• A strong communicator and ability to influence
• 3-5 years’ experience post qualification
