Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a disciplined Aircraft Maintenance/Trade Assistant to join our team in Moorabbin, VIC. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.

Your role

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
• Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
• Maintaining thorough records of actions taken; 
• Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and;
• Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.

The essential requirement

• Preferably have a CERT IV in Aerospace skills  
• Highly skilled and competent in aircraft maintenance troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components; 
• Strong team player;
• Ability to follow supervisory direction;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
• Passion for safe work practices;
• Valid work visa;
• Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
• Current Australian Driver's licence.

We are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are available to work in Moorabbin, VIC before applying.
