Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in general aviation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the airworthiness of a diverse range of aircraft. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing organisation in a key regional aviation hub.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on various general aviation aircraft.
• Conduct thorough inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs as necessary.
• Mechanical maintenance including minor repairs or modifications.
• Mechanical inspections including repairs or modifications.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

 
Requirements:

• 3+ years mechanical experience in general aviation.
• Hold a Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical) and CASA B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License.
• Proven experience in general aviation maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and mechanics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Highly skilled at troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong team player.
• Ability to follow supervisory direction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Consistent positive and proactive attitude.
• Passion for safe work practices.
• Valid work visa.
• Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain).
• Current Australian Driver's licence.

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional endorsements or certifications related to specific aircraft types.
• Familiarity with current industry regulations and standards.
