We work closely with our client, a leader in the Australian aviation industry, to provide critical aircraft maintenance services for their fleet of Fokker and Embraer aircraft. Our client operates a highly specialised Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) program, ensuring the safety, reliability, and peak performance of their aircraft, which are essential for supporting a wide range of operations, across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Our client’s maintenance teams play a vital role in upholding stringent industry standards, ensuring that every aircraft in their fleet is meticulously serviced and maintained to optimise operational efficiency and minimise downtime. Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) to join our team in
Rockhampton, QLD. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
The essential requirements - Cert IV in Aeroskills or equivalent trade certificate
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and JUST culture
- Experience on Fokker 70/100 / Embraer E190 Aircraft, or Group 20 type (desirable)
- Ability to perform shift work if required
- Previous experience in a base maintenance environment
- Sound knowledge of current CASA regulations
- Ability to obtain and hold a valid ASIC
- Sound written and oral communication
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Developed troubleshooting and communication skills
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Well-developed computing skills
- Ability to think laterally in order to problem solve
- Sound time management skills
- Pass background checks or medical screenings as required by us, Drug and Alcohol testing and police check clearance will be part of the recruitment process
- Driver’s licence
- Must be Covid vaccinated having received at least 2 doses
- Ability to hold and maintain a valid ASIC card
Shifts 5 days per week (great hours).
