Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team in Cairns QLD. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.

The essential requirements

• 2+ years experience on Dash 8 Q200, Q300 aircraft;
• CASA Part 66 Licence, type rated on Dash 8 Q200, Q300;
• Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical), desired;
• Proven experience with aircraft modifications programs;
• Strong team player;
• Ability to follow supervisory direction;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
• Passion for safe work practices;
• Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
• Current Australian Driver's licence.
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks, including AOD & hearing assessment;
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident;

Shifts will be 6 on 1 off schedule with flexibility between days shifts and afternoon shifts to maintain operations.

Duration will be approx. 9 months.

We are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are eligible and available to work in Cairns QLD before applying.
