Who are we looking for?
We are looking for experienced Engine Overhaul Technicians, who are professional people with a great attitude. You will be flexible in your approach and safety will be at the top of your priority list. The positions will be in Tamworth, NSW carrying out Engine Maintenance on Piston Engines, working dayshift.
Your role
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components, using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment;
- Test engine operation, using test equipment such as ignition analyser, compression checker, distributor timer, and ammeter, to identify malfunction;
- Detect and diagnose malfunctions, such as sticking or burned valves;
- Disassemble and inspect engine parts, such as turbine blades and cylinders, for wear, warping, cracks, and leaks;
- Reassemble engine and install engine in aircraft;
- Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories;
- Utilise your skills and experience to improve processes and apply best practice to optimise the quality of service provided;
Essential Requirements: Certificate III light vehicle mechanic or similar
Previous experience in Aerospace, Truck, Equipment or Automotive industry or similar role including diesel mechanic role or light vehicle mechanic role.

- Ability and willingness to work to a time schedule
- Passion for safety and working as part of a team
