Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) to join our team in Perth, WA. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.

Your role

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Line maintenance and heavy maintenance of aircraft - i.e. dismantling, inspecting, testing, and repairing various aircraft systems, including airframe and engine;
• Assembling parts and sub-assemblies of aircraft structure;
• Conducting routine servicing of aircraft, including component replacements and fluid servicing; 
• Conducting routine pre-flight inspections of engines and propellors, aircraft mechanical systems and structure; 
• Ensuring that all maintenance carried out is certified correctly, IAW CASA regulations.
• Replacement of mechanical components, including hydraulic actuators, engines and components, landing gear and flight controls; 
• Executing post-repair functional tests
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with technical documentation.

The essential requirements

• 3+ years avionics experience on A319, A320 & F100;
• CASA Part 66 License;
• Trade Certificate IV (Avionics);
• Highly skilled and competent in aircraft maintenance troubleshooting and repair; 
• Strong team player;
• Ability to follow supervisory direction;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
• Passion for safe work practices;
• Australian Citizen;
• Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
• Current Australian Driver's licence
• Hold or ability to obtain baseline security clearance

Shifts are on a 6on-6off.

We are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are available to work in Perth, WA before applying.
