Role Description
An ongoing Stores Person opportunity is available with Jetstar in Brisbane, supporting aircraft maintenance teams in a fast-paced airside environment.
The role is responsible for managing aircraft parts, tools and consumables, maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring maintenance teams receive the materials they need on time.
The role will suit candidates with previous warehouse or stores experience who can work reliably across a 4 on / 4 off day and night roster. Aviation stores experience will be highly regarded, along with experience using inventory management systems such as WMS or ERP.
You will:
- Manage aircraft parts, tools and consumables
- Support aircraft maintenance teams with required materials
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records
- Keep warehouse and stores operations running efficiently
- Coordinate parts and consumable movements within the maintenance environment
- Work safely and effectively in an airside environment
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail
- Follow relevant aviation, stores and regulatory processes
- Support day and night operations across the 4 on / 4 off roster

Essential RequirementsRequired Role Experience:Previous warehouse or stores experience is required. Aviation industry stores experience will be highly regarded.
Maintenance Qualification / Licence:No aircraft maintenance licence or trade qualification is specified for this Stores Person role.
Work Rights:Candidates must have Australian work rights. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location / Availability:Brisbane based candidates are preferred. Candidates willing to relocate to Brisbane will also be considered. Candidates must be available to work the ongoing 4 on / 4 off day and night roster.
Additional Requirements:Candidates must hold or be able to obtain a Brisbane Airport airside driving licence. Candidates must also hold or be able to obtain an ASIC.
Skills:Strong stores, warehouse and inventory management capability. Experience with WMS or ERP systems is desirable. Knowledge of aviation parts and regulatory compliance, including CASA and CAAS requirements, is desirable.
Desirable Certifications:Forklift licence and relevant certifications are desirable. A DG by Air Acceptance certificate covering Group A & F / IATA Categories 1 & 6 is desirable.
Attitude:Reliable, safety-focused and highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced aviation maintenance environment.
