Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across the USA market for international trip support services.
This role is focused on identifying and converting new business opportunities within the business aviation sector, building long-term customer relationships and developing existing accounts. The successful candidate will have previous experience selling international trip support services and a strong understanding of the business aviation market.
You will:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the business across the USA
- Identify and prioritise target clients and key decision-makers
- Build relationships with Part 91 and Part 135 operators
- Develop opportunities with aircraft management companies and corporate flight departments
- Engage with private aircraft owners and other business aviation customers
- Promote international trip support services and communicate the value proposition
- Generate new business and develop an existing customer portfolio
- Lead client negotiations and support the conversion of opportunities into contracts
- Identify upselling and account development opportunities
- Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales pitches for prospective clients
- Work closely with operations, marketing, customer relations and vendor relations teams
- Provide ongoing support to customers and help resolve service-related issues
- Support customers with complex or difficult flight requirements
- Maintain strong awareness of industry trends and developments

Essential Requirements
Required Role Experience:
Previous experience working in sales, business development or account management for an international trip support company is essential.
Experience in selling trip support services to business aviation customers is required.
Candidates with experience working for organisations such as Jetex, AEG, World Fuel Services, UAS International Trip Support, Universal Weather and Aviation or Flight Pro International will be highly regarded.
Maintenance Qualification / Licence:
Not applicable. This is a commercial sales and business development position.
Work Rights:
Must have full working rights in the USA.
Location / Availability:
USA based and able to work remotely. Flexible working hours are required to effectively support customers and opportunities across the USA market.
Additional Requirements:
A strong existing network or pool of business aviation clients will be highly regarded.
Industry knowledge and an established understanding of international trip support operations are essential.
Skills:
Strong business development, lead generation, account management, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Ability to identify new opportunities, convert prospects into customers and develop existing accounts through upselling and relationship management.
Strong commercial communication, presentation and proposal skills.
Ability to understand and support complex flight requirements and work effectively with internal operational teams.
Attitude:
Commercially driven, proactive and self-motivated.
Strong relationship builder with a customer-focused approach.
Able to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
