Role Description
A potential B2.3 Avionics LAME opportunity supporting engineering operation at Moorabbin Airport.
The company operates a diverse rotary-wing fleet including EC120, AS350/H125, H135 and five-bladed H145 helicopters. The role will suit an experienced avionics engineer with genuine hands-on maintenance capability who can contribute across maintenance, fault-finding, installation and modification activities.
You will:
- Carry out practical avionics maintenance and fault-finding
- Support avionics installations and aircraft modifications
- Work with aircraft wiring and loom systems
- Support equipment and radio upgrades
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation
- Work collaboratively within a dynamic engineering environment

Essential Requirements
Required Role Experience:
Genuine hands-on avionics maintenance experience relevant to aircraft maintenance operations.
Maintenance Qualification /
Licence:
B2.3 Avionics LAME licence.
Work Rights:
Appropriate Australian work rights required. New Zealand candidates may be considered, subject to confirmation of work rights and visa requirements.
Location /
Availability:
Based at Moorabbin Airport, Melbourne. Interstate candidates may be considered. ASAP availability preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Relevant rotary-wing experience is highly regarded. Aircraft type ratings are desirable but no specific aircraft type rating has been confirmed as mandatory.
Skills:
Avionics fault-finding, maintenance, installation and modification capability. Wiring and loom experience, equipment upgrades and radio upgrade experience are highly regarded.
Attitude:
Flexible, practical and collaborative, with a strong safety focus and the ability to work effectively in a changing engineering environment.
