Role Description
Aircraft Maintenance Planner required to support maintenance planning, scheduling and forecasting within an aviation environment. The role involves creating work orders, monitoring aircraft utilization, maintaining technical records and coordinating with operational, airworthiness and maintenance teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain short, medium and long-term maintenance plans.
- Align maintenance planning with fleet availability and operational priorities.
- Collaborate with operations, airworthiness and contracted maintenance teams.
- Undertake specialist projects and engineering administration as required.
- Maintain accurate aircraft utilization data, including hours, cycles and TTIS.
- Maintain aircraft technical records and maintenance documentation.
- Apply quality assurance principles to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Support technical records activities and continuing airworthiness requirements.
- Ensure maintenance planning activities align with applicable regulatory requirements.

Essential Requirements
Required Role Experience: - Minimum 3 years' aircraft maintenance planning experience.
- Experience within aviation, aircraft engineering or maintenance environments.
- Experience using a Maintenance Information System is highly regarded.
Maintenance Qualification / Licence: - Aviation maintenance or aircraft engineering background required.
- Formal maintenance planning qualification or aircraft maintenance licence highly regarded.
Work Rights: - Australian work rights required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC.
- Valid, unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence required.
Skills: - Strong maintenance planning and scheduling capability.
- High attention to detail and data integrity.
- Knowledge of aircraft utilization, hours, cycles and TTIS.
- Understanding of aircraft maintenance and airworthiness requirements.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong technical data entry and quality control skills.
- Experience with Veryon Tracking+ or similar systems highly regarded.
