. Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) to join our team in Adelaide, SA. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
Your role
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Line maintenance and heavy maintenance of aircraft - i.e. dismantling, inspecting, testing, and repairing various aircraft systems, including airframe and engine;
- Avionics maintenance including minor repairs or modifications;
- Avionics inspections including major avionics repairs or modifications;
- Modification of autopilot systems;
- Conducting routine servicing of aircraft, including component replacements and fluid servicing;
- Conducting routine pre-flight inspections;
- Ensuring that all maintenance carried out is certified correctly, IAW CASA regulations.
- Executing post-repair functional tests
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with technical documentation.
The essential requirements - 3+ years mechanical experience on Dash 8 Q400 aircraft (or similar type);
- Trade Certificate IV (Avionics) and CASA Part 66 Licence
- Highly skilled and competent in aircraft avionics system troubleshooting and repair;
- Strong team player;
- Ability to follow supervisory direction;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
- Passion for safe work practices;
- Valid work visa;
- Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
- Current Australian Driver's licence.
Shifts will be primarily early/late on a 4 on 4 off roster - subject to change. The duration will cover for a 6-week period from the start of August.
