The Organisation Across New South Wales, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people make up around 40% of those in foster care, yet many do not receive support from an organisation that truly understands their cultural needs.
Narang Bir-rong Aboriginal Corporation is a trusted, community-controlled organisation dedicated to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and communities. The Role Reporting to the Deputy CEO, you will play a key role in shaping the organisation’s brand presence, fostering a culturally safe and supportive workplace, and ensuring smooth corporate operations. As the Operations Manager, Marketing & Corporate Services, you will provide leadership across Marketing & Communications, Human Resources, and Corporate Services. Your work will help strengthen community trust, support employees, and enhance operational effectiveness. Key areas of focus include:
- Marketing & Communications – Enhancing community engagement through meaningful and culturally informed strategies
- Human Resources – Supporting a positive workplace culture through recruitment, employee well-being, and professional development
- Corporate Services – Ensuring effective administration and management of facilities, fleet, accounts, IT, assets, and operational resources to enable teams to do their best work
About You You are a strategic and people-focused leader with experience in marketing, corporate services, or HR. A background in service delivery within human services would be a huge bonus. Your ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and navigate complex operational needs will be key to your success. To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing & Communications, HR, or Business Administration
- At least five years’ leadership experience in marketing, HR, corporate services, or a related field
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to foster trust and collaboration
- Experience in compliance, risk management, and operational oversight
