The Role
We currently have a vacancy for suitably qualified and experienced Electrician on weekend day shift. You will join a highly motivated and experienced team who provide excellent, time critical service ensuring the reliability of the Castlemaine site. This role is a permanent full-time opportunity, working Friday - Sunday from 5:30am - 5:30pm
Purpose of the Role
- Diagnose and resolve equipment electrical breakdowns efficiently, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity in a safe manner
- Collaborate with other maintenance and production team members to communicate equipment status, particularly during shift changes.
- Maintain safety and compliance standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
- Working with the Maintenance Manager and Supervisors to conduct root cause analysis on failures and ensuring follow up on identified actions.
- Maintaining all registers, logs and systems to track repairs, notifications and work activities.
- Develop & maintain a close and collaborative working relationships across the Maintenance, Production, Planning and Engineering teams.

About You - With any of the Electrical trade qualifications below:
- Trade Certificate III in Electrical Fitting
- Trade Certificate III in Electrotechnology Technician
- “A” Grade / E-class Electrician License
- A safety mindset with a strong commitment to ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Can work and communicate well in a team environment
- Sound understanding of reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance systems and techniques
- Sound knowledge of high-speed packaging equipment, bearings, seals, shaft repair, conveying systems, etc.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great organisational and time management skills
- Able to work independently, with minimal supervision
