About the role

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a part time Canteen Assistant's on Afternoon shift to join the team at DON in Castlemaine, Victoria. 

This role is a permanent part-time role and has an immediate start, working Monday to Friday (approx. 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm). Paying rate of $25.65 p/h + penalty rates.
 
Your duties may include: Food preparation, basic cooking, customer service, cleaning & dishwashing, stock replenishment and some heavy lifting. 

The ideal applicant will have: 

• Food Handlers Certificate - desired 
• Solid experience in a similar position, including food preparation and customer service
• Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
• Thorough understanding of OH&S and Food Safety practices
• A high attention to detail with a hands-on approach
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Catering experience is a bonus.
