Our client has a rare opening to join their Aviation Engineering Team in either Perth, Melbourne or Sydney to manage the delivery of local, national and international airport and aviation projects.

This is a prime opportunity for an Experienced or Senior Civil Engineer with expertise on aviation/airport projects to manage your own portfolio of projects. Especially ideal for candidates from the cutthroat world of the multi-nationals, this is your chance to step into an environment where you have more time and headspace to deliver the projects without the additional typical pressures. 
  
The Role

• Undertake pavement design across roads and airports
• Manage your own portfolio of clients and projects from the cradle to the grave
• Support the wider team in delivering key national and international projects
• Conduct business development activities including establishing and expanding prosperous long-term working relationships with new and existing clients, creating and managing proposals, tender responses and compilation of technical reports
• Conduct materials assessments using a range of technologies
• Undertake national and international travel, at times, to conduct onsite investigations and assessments to monitor the progress of projects
• Work in collaboration with the Design and Drafting Team and internal and external stakeholders

  
Candidate Criteria

• Bachelor Civil Engineering and experience in pavement/geometric design on airport, aviation or road projects using either Civil 3D or 12D, or alternatively strong airfield engineering experience 
• Ability to foster good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong report writing skills
• Experienced in using a variety of investigation and assessment tools
