Key responsibilities:
- Full maintenance of relevant ARV assets and servicing and repair of all ARV vehicles, plant and machinery.
- Metal fabrication: create and repair parts with mig and tig welding
- Delivering a preventative maintenance program in line with resort assets, fleet and stock requirements.
- Submitting capex requests to the Head of Assets and Operations in line with budget.
- Ensure completion of all requirements scheduling and documentation as required
Qualifications, skills and experience: - Trade qualifications as diesel fitter, mechanic or equivalent
- Experience in diagnosis & repair of heavy plant and machinery
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a diesel fitter, mechanic or equivalent
- Current medium rigid vehicle licence
The successful candidate will be required to: - Have full Australian working rights.
- Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Employee Working with Children Check
- Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests.
- Have an Australian Drivers licence
