JOB DESCRIPTION
Job title: Robot Solutions Specialist
 
Purpose:
Our Robot Solutions Specialists are distributed across New Zealand providing local sales, servicing and
customer support to our growing Robomate community. Robot Solutions Specialists are our brand
ambassadors, they are passionate about our robots, maintain high levels of product knowledge and deliver
exceptional customer service that genuinely cares. Robot Solutions Specialists understand the unique needs
of our customers and ensure the right robotic solutions are identified - helping our customers save valuable
time for life.

Specific duties and responsibilities

• Represent Robomate well, supporting our brand and community growth.
• Provide exceptional customer service and care to ensure positive customer experiences.
• Maintain accurate product and technical knowledge to respond to and achieve sales opportunities.
• Provide high-quality and best-practice product demonstrations aligned to the unique needs of each customer, optimising and achieving sales.
• Complete high-quality and best-practice installations ensuring positive new customer experiences.
• Respond to customer inquiries/concerns and provide accurate troubleshooting, repairs and servicing to ensure high levels of satisfaction and customer retention.
• Ensure timely and accurate follow-up with customers.
• Proactively identify trends and new opportunities for sales, business growth and improvements.
• Collaborate with other teams to enable positive customer experiences and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate product records and customer interactions in relevant systems.
• Support events as a passionate brand ambassador and sharing of product expertise
• Proactively seek continuous Improvement, participate in training and development opportunities and stay updated on product changes, company policies, and customer service best practices.
• Achieve KPIs and sales targets.
• Liaise and maintain positive relationships with internal teams.
• Your actions will always demonstrate care - for each other, our community, and our robomates.
• Robomate's reputation is enhanced by all that you do.
• Flexibility to travel as required.

Skills, experience & education

• Customer service experience with a key focus on achieving sales and business growth.
• An enthusiastic and passionate personality.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for caring.
• A continuous learning mindset with technical understanding of electromechanical or robotic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail.
