REPORTS TO Principal
JOB GOAL To assist the Principal in order that he/she may devote maximum attention to administering an effective instructional program. Responsible for accounting of all revenues and expenditures at the school level in accordance with state guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Acts as the school receptionist and greets the public via telephone and in person with a pleasant attitude
Performs administrative and clerical duties pertaining to the administrative functions of the school office
Operates, maintains, and controls the use of the copy machines and office equipment
Administers first-aid to sick or injured students, and gives prescribed medication when the nurse is not available
Works with Student Management to maintain accurate student information database
Maintains school attendance accounting records for students and staff
Maintains the confidentiality of reports, records, and personal experience of a private nature regarding students, school employees, and patrons
Maintains knowledge of all safety rules and proper procedures for school and student population
Perform other school-related duties as assigned by the Principal
PHYSICAL DEMANDS This job may require lifting of objects that exceed 25 lbs. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to ten lbs. Other physical demands that may be required are as follows:
