Mō te tūnga | About the role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary People, Wellbeing, and Culture Lead (PWCL) to play a pivotal role in enhancing our organisational culture, employee well-being, and overall workplace experience.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to create a positive, inclusive environment where every staff member feels valued, supported, and inspired to contribute their best.
Leading from Auckland, you will be accountable for:
- Leading and enhancing the organisation’s People, Wellbeing, and Culture.
- Aligning organisational goals with the well-being and culture of our people, including embedding Te Kawa Haumaru (our cultural competency aspirations) into Accessible Properties workplace practices
- Defining and communicating clear roles and responsibilities, fostering a strong sense of belonging.
- Developing and implementing innovative HR metrics to measure success, including employee satisfaction, retention, and community reputation.
- Collaborating with leadership to design impactful team days, learning opportunities, and agile ways of working.
- Optimising recruitment, induction, and onboarding processes, ensuring an exceptional employee journey.

- Proven experience in a senior People, Culture, and Wellbeing role, with a track record of progressive strategies.
- Familiarity with the unique needs of non-profit organisations, blending community focus with commercial performance.
- Leadership expertise in fostering a positive workplace culture and embedding agile ways of working.
- Strong skills in recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention strategies.
- Resilience, confidence, and cultural competence.
- Exceptional collaboration skills and a passion for working with diverse teams
