Our client is a privately owned boutique leadership consultancy working with senior executives across Australia and internationally.
The business operates with a small, high-trust team in a founder-led environment. This role combines business finance responsibilities with personal financial administration for the founding family, operating in a family-office style structure.
The Opportunity
This is a permanent, part-time, hands-on finance and administration role supporting both the business and the founding family’s financial affairs.
The role is approximately:
60% business finance
40% personal / family office administration
You will be the sole finance contact, working closely with the Managing Director and external advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable and receivable across multiple entities (Xero)
- Payroll, PAYG, superannuation and quarterly BAS
- Weekly financial reporting and cashflow oversight
- Banking, credit card reconciliations and supplier payments
- Liaising with external accountants, insurers and advisors
- Monitoring ASIC and ATO compliance
- Supporting personal financial administration and property portfolio records
- HR administration, office coordination and operational support
About You This role suits someone who has previously been the primary finance contact in a small business and is comfortable managing finance operations end-to-end without a finance team liaising with external accounting firm.
Essential - Experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or Finance and Administration Manager
- Strong Xero experience including payroll and BAS
- Solid understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Professional, discreet and comfortable working autonomously
Highly Regarded - Experience in a family office or private business environment
- Exposure to property portfolio administration
- Experience with ASIC compliance and ATO portals
