About the Position
We're seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to help drive financial performance across our Primary Production operations. As part of the Business Analysis team, you'll work closely with the General Manager - Primary Production, Station Managers, and key corporate leaders to deliver high‑quality insights, robust analysis, and forward‑looking financial planning that supports strategic and operational decision‑making.

Business Partnering & Financial Leadership
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and performance analytics for Primary Production
- Provide commercial insight and decision support to operational and corporate leaders
- Deliver clear, actionable financial analysis aligned to business priorities
Operational & Supply Chain Support - Support supply chain operations, including monthly coordination with the Placement Schedule Manager and Station Managers
- Assist with logistics planning, operational analysis, and scenario modelling
Financial Modelling & Systems - Maintain and update NAPCo's Long Range Financial Model
- Enhance TM1 (IBM Analytics) reporting and data integrity
- Improve online financial and management reporting across the business
Analysis, Reporting & Projects - Deliver monthly KPI reporting and dashboards
- Conduct ad hoc commercial analysis to support business cases and investment decisions
- Support financial and strategic projects with high‑quality analysis
- Undertake data analysis and reporting to support continuous improvement
About You You combine a love of numbers with a genuine interest in agriculture. Organised, self‑motivated, and naturally analytical, you're comfortable working independently while building strong relationships across finance and operations.
You will bring:
- A degree in Commerce, Accounting, or similar (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5 years' finance experience, ideally in analysis, business partnering, or commercial finance
- Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, practical insights
- Experience with financial models, forecasting tools, and reporting systems, including proficiency in TM1 (IBM Analytics) or similar modelling and BI/analytical tools
- Advanced Excel and strong MS Office skills
- High attention to detail and strong business acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Understanding of the pastoral industry and beef supply chain (advantageous)
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to achieving shared outcomes
- Position includes some travel to regional operations.
