The North Australian Pastoral Company (NAPCo) was founded in 1877 and is one of Australia's leading beef cattle companies, managing over 6.1 million hectares, largest single herd in the world and home to Five Founders Beef. NAPCo employs approximately 220 staff operating across Queensland and the Northern Territory, with 15 cattle stations, a Depot in Mount Isa, a Feedlot and Farm in the Darling Downs and an office in Brisbane's CBD.
About the Position
The Executive Assistant & Office Coordinator is pivotal to the efficient and effective daily operations of NAPCo. Reporting to the Executive Officer, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to the C-suite and broader leadership team. You will be the go-to person ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Brisbane office.
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing administration and business support to the CEO, CFO and broader leadership team, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Organising and coordinating the C-suite emails and calendar—scheduling appointments, coordinating logistics and preparing expense claims etc.
- Drafting, editing and formatting correspondence, communications, presentations, reports, internal newsletters and other documents where required.
- Coordinating all aspects of the Brisbane office.
- Coordinating travel bookings across the business.
- Supporting the organisation of internal conferences and events as required.
About You The successful candidate will be energetic, passionate and a strong communicator, takes ownership and thrives on being at the center of the action. You will be forward-thinking and well organised, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to think outside the box.
Experience required to successfully deliver in this role includes:
- Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in a similar role, providing confidential support to leadership level and/or C-Suite.
- An ability to build, foster and maintain relationships internally and externally.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to provide high level confidential support.
- Ability to work flexibly, demonstrating problem solving capability to deliver outcomes in line with deadlines.
- Strong business acumen and a proactive approach with the ability to anticipate and resolve any potential issues.
- Demonstrated experience managing an office.
- Advanced Microsoft Suite (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and document design skills.
- Experience, personal or professional, in the agriculture industry would be favourable.
