The North Australian Pastoral Company (NAPCo) was founded in 1877 and is one of Australia's leading beef cattle companies, managing over 6.1 million hectares and home of Australia's First Carbon Neutral Beef - Five Founders. NAPCo employs approximately 220 staff operating across Queensland and the Northern Territory, with 14 cattle stations, a Depot in Mount Isa, a Feedlot and Farm in the Darling Downs and an office in Brisbane's CBD.
Soudan Station, NT
Through a recent restructure, Soudan Station, formerly an outstation of Alexandria, now operates independently. Soudan Station runs approx. 22,000 head of cattle and home to NAPCo's heifer hub, it's located on the Barkly Highway, 1 hour west of Camooweal.
The role
Joining the crew at Soudan Station, you will undertake station hand duties mustering on horses and bikes as well as transporting livestock as required in oversized trucks or road trains ensuring animal health and welfare.
