About NAPCo
The North Australian Pastoral Company (NAPCo) was founded in 1877 and is one of Australia's leading beef cattle companies managing over 6.1 million hectares and home to Five Founders Beef. NAPCo employs approximately 220 staff operating across Queensland and the Northern Territory, with 15 cattle stations, a Depot in Mount Isa, a Feedlot and Farm in the Darling Downs and an office in Brisbane's CBD.
The role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced HSE Coordinator to assist with the management of our industry leading safety program.
The HSE Coordinator will play a critical role supporting the HSE Manager and HSE Partner in the implementation and maintenance of NAPCo’s HSE management processes. You will work with our HSE and station teams to ensure we provide excellent outcomes, including:
- Assist in the implementation of various HSE processes;
- Documentation, database and records management;
- Coordinate and schedule HSE training sessions;
- Assist with preparation and distribution of regular HSE reports and updates;
- Ensure quality and accuracy of our online HSE platform; and
- General assistance for the team in delivering the broader HSE functions within the business.
About you To thrive in this role, you will be a motivated self-starter who has a genuine passion for helping others and an eye for detail. This is a hands-on role supporting the HSE team, so a strong administrative background with a desire to expand your knowledge base is essential, combined with:
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel;
- High attention to detail;
- Experience in building and providing regular accurate reporting;
- Strong people skills;
- Knowledge of HSE management systems (or ability to quickly learn);
- Relevant qualifications ideal but not required;
- Positive, proactive attitude; and
- The ability to collaboratively work with different teams across the business.
