The North Australian Pastoral Company (NAPCo) was founded in 1877 and is one of Australia's leading beef cattle companies, managing over 6.1 million hectares and home of Australia's First Carbon Neutral Beef - Five Founders. NAPCo employs approximately 220 staff operating across Queensland and the Northern Territory, with 14 cattle stations, a Depot in Mount Isa, a Feedlot and Farm in the Darling Downs and an office in Brisbane's CBD.
The role
NAPCo is undertaking a data centralisation and improvement project to optimise carbon accounting, herd performance reporting and the commercialisation of Sustainability. As part of this project the Livestock Data Systems Coordinator will help optimise herd performance data collection on property and at the company’s Feedlot. The position will assist with the management, access and utilisation of the data across the supply chain. Joining the Programs and Innovation team, the position reports to the Natural Capital Partner. and will work closely with Station and Feedlot Managers and staff on sites collecting herd performance data and troubleshooting processes.
