About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Production team. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our food processing and packaging operations running smoothly by maintaining equipment, resolving issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to grow their career within a progressive food business.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Provide reliable, high-quality support to production operations.
• Carry out maintenance activities with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance work is accurately recorded, and preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks are completed and closed out in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and system faults quickly to minimize downtime.
• Support continuous improvement efforts across the production floor.

About You

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Multi-skilled background (mechanical and electrical) with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Confident in fault-finding on PLC-controlled machinery.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
• Flexible and adaptable, willing to work shifts and overtime as required.
• Eager to learn, develop, and progress within the organisation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Hours of work
Monday to Friday only rotating weekly 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm
