Production Supervisor - Co. Meath
Full-time, Permanent |€42,000 DOE | Monday to Friday- No Weekends
Are you an experienced people leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment? This is your chance to take ownership of a key leadership role within a well-established food manufacturing facility based in Co. Meath.
 
We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a dedicated production team, ensuring daily targets are met while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You'll be instrumental in driving continuous improvement, coaching your team to perform at their best, and ensuring smooth coordination between production, maintenance, quality, and warehouse operations.
 
What you'll do:

• Lead and supervise daily operations on the production floor, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
• Drive your team to achieve and exceed daily production targets.
• Monitor key production metrics and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager and cross-functional departments to plan workloads and allocate resources effectively.
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all food safety and regulatory standards.
• Train, mentor, and motivate production staff, supporting skill development and performance growth.
• Quickly resolve operational issues to keep production running smoothly.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs to minimise disruptions.
• Maintain high food safety and quality standards in line with BRC guidelines.
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support continuous improvement.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment (food industry experience a distinct advantage).
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Confident decision-maker with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, compliance requirements, and production processes.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive improvements.
