Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician 
Location: Monaghan
Full-time | 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm
 
As part of ongoing investment in people and technology, the company is expanding its engineering function and now requires a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join the team.

The Opportunity
As a key member of the maintenance team, you will take ownership of minimising downtime and keeping operations running smoothly. You will use your skills across both mechanical and electrical disciplines, responding quickly to breakdowns, carrying out preventative maintenance, and assisting with equipment upgrades and installations.
 
What You'll Do

• Complete routine and preventative maintenance across production lines
• Troubleshoot and repair faults across electrical and mechanical systems (PLC-controlled machinery, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.)
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades
• React quickly to breakdowns to ensure minimal production loss
• Record all maintenance work accurately using the company's CMMS system
• Work to strict health, safety, and quality standards
• Contribute ideas and energy to continuous improvement projects

About You

• Trade-qualified in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
• 3-5 years' experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting
• Skilled in diagnosing and repairing automated equipment issues
• Background in a regulated sector (food, pharma, automotive, etc.) is desirable
• Comfortable working across both mechanical and electrical disciplines
• Proactive, hands-on problem solver with strong communication skills
