What You’ll Be Doing You’ll lead a talented team of educators and specialists to deliver exceptional outcomes across Electrical and Refrigeration programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving strategic planning, curriculum development, and compliance excellence
- Leading and mentoring educators to deliver industry-relevant, high-quality training
- Building partnerships with employers, regulators, and government stakeholders
- Managing budgets, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Championing safety, inclusion, and student engagement across all delivery modes
About You You’re an experienced educational/ training leader with a strong foundation in the trades — and a proven ability to manage people, programs, and performance.
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- A relevant tertiary qualification plus a trade or professional qualification in Electrical, Refrigeration, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in VET leadership, curriculum development, and assessment
- Sound understanding of adult learning principles and competency-based training
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks within the VET sector
- A track record of mentoring and developing teaching teams to achieve excellence
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with industry and government
- A collaborative, values-driven leadership style focused on growth and impact
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check
