What You’ll Be Doing You’ll take charge of the day-to-day leadership of the Refrigeration program — guiding educators, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high standards of delivery and engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mentoring and developing teaching staff to maintain vocational and industry currency
- Managing course timetabling, budgets, and planning
- Ensuring compliance with VET and quality frameworks (SRTOs, VRQA, ESOS)
- Driving student engagement, satisfaction and retention
- Collaborating with industry partners to align training with workforce needs
- Contributing to curriculum innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
About You You’re an educator and leader with deep refrigeration trade knowledge, a commitment to vocational learning, and a people-first approach.
To succeed, you’ll bring:
- A relevant qualification (AQF5 or above) and trade/professional qualification in Refrigeration or a related field
- Strong experience in VET teaching, assessment, and curriculum development
- Proven ability to lead and mentor teaching teams and drive quality outcomes
- Solid understanding of competency-based training and VET compliance
- Skill in budgeting, planning, and timetabling
- Familiarity with blended learning and digital delivery tools
- A collaborative, inclusive and values-driven leadership style
- Victorian Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
