We have been retained to find a Condition Monitoring Specialist for our valued Client, Valmet. This key role is based at the Carrington manufacturing site and forms part of the maintenance function engaged at the state of the art SAICA PM11 Mill.

The Condition Monitoring Specialist will support the delivery of a high quality and efficient reliability and maintenance service
Selected responsibilities would be….
Health, Safety and the Environment – adherence to policies and practices of Valmet and the operating business.
Development and implementation of condition monitoring activities and practices alongside the other team members
Execution of condition monitoring activities, Collection and analyzing of condition monitoring data
Maintain condition monitoring tools and software including alarm limits and analyze parameters
Responsible that backup copies for condition monitoring software are available
Preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in responsibility area and other areas when needed
Evaluation of asset failure severity and estimation of expected life time an asset based on measurements
Recommendation of required actions of failures to areas and support areas to prioritize all findings
Collection of failure database of findings and failures (before and after maintenance)
Investigation and analyses of changed components to understand root cause of the failure
Support root cause investigations, when required
Communication and consultation of production teams of asset conditions and process impact to expected life time of an asset
Ensure production line reliability
Report all activities to Maximo (CMMS)
What we are looking for….
2 years’ experience within a Vibration Analysis focused role
Engineering qualification such as HNC in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering
Previous exposure to large scale manufacturing operations
Experience using a CMMS – Maximo would be of interest
