Position Overview: As a Molder/Coremaker you will report to the Mold and Core Supervisor in Tacoma, Washington. You will be responsible for making, finishing, and closing molds.
  
Primary Responsibilities:

• Make molds in accordance with work instructions
• Assemble and close molds
• Operate arc welder as required
• Operate cranes as needed
• Keep work area clean
• Alert supervisor to any safety or quality issues needing attention
• Alert supervisor to any maintenance needs
• Recommend process improvements
• Participate in special activities, projects, and programs in order to support Bradken’s safety, quality, and productivity goals

Qualifications:

• Ability to work with limited direct supervision
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Experience:

• Prefer previous molding / foundry experience
• Prefer previous manufacturing experience
• Must have good written and oral communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to use arms, hands, legs and feet in repetitive motions
• Able to twist, stoop bend, and stand in the performance of job duties
• Must be able to lift 55 pounds repetitively
• Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors and uneven surfaces for the duration of the work shift
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
• Must have good vision and depth perception
• Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including respirator

Pay Range: $22.63 - $29.54/hr (Depending on experience)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm (Must be flexible for OT)
