Overview of the Underwriting Associate

The Underwriting Associate will evaluate risk for commercial auto & property coverage and assist with researching info & processing applications.

Responsibilities of the Underwriting Associate

• Utilize company criteria and protocols to evaluate risk among many lines of business
• Perform independent verification of insured's operations
• Review and process change requests
• Participate in Underwriting Training for new products, directives and processes
• Participate in projects as assigned

Requirements for the Underwriting Associate

• Computer savvy and investigation/research abilities
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Bachelor's degree required
• Analytical abilities
• Attention to detail
• Research skills
• Time-management

Schedule & Pay of the Underwriting Associate

• M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Some flexibility on start/end time, at manager's discretion
• Hybrid schedule includes working 2 days at home, and 3 onsite
• Convenient downtown parking! 
• $42,000+, DOE.
